White Peak Planning was instructed by Regeneco and United Utilities to prepare and submit a series of planning applications for temporary anemometer masts.
The masts were to remain in place for two years and record detailed data on the wind conditions at the site. The purpose of the data was to provide information on the suitability of each site for a wind turbine, as part of United Utilities’ drive to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs.
