On behalf of Bloor Homes, White Peak Planning have secured a resolution to grant outline planning permission for a mixed-use development of up to 800 dwellings, up to 2ha of employment land (B1 and B2) and a Local Centre, together with a primary school (D1) and community facilities (D2), on land located to the east of Horndean.
The site forms the most significant part of allocation HN1 ‘Land to the East of Horndean’ in the East Hampshire Housing and Employment Allocations Local Plan (2016).
East Hampshire Council Planning committee voted unanimously to approve the development, subject to an S106 agreement.
White Peak Planning worked under a tight submission deadline of 4 months to provide strategic planning advice and project manage the planning phase of the application on behalf of Bloor Homes. We have also submitted a related planning application on land within the allocation boundary for up to 85 age restricted dwellings, which will hopefully be determined by the end of summer 2020.
