New Permissions: Land East of Maghull
Sefton Council’s Planning Committee has resolved to approve two planning applications (subject to S106) totalling around 1,700 dwellings at Land East of Maghull.
First was an application for up to 855 dwellings, an older persons housing scheme and a local centre on behalf of a consortium of landowners. Second was an application for 841 dwellings and an older persons housing scheme on behalf of Countryside Properties and Persimmon Homes. This was a duplicate of the recently allowed appeal.
White Peak Planning acted as planning consultant for both applications, prepared a Masterplan Report for the allocation and co-ordinated a joint Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
