New Permission: Land South of Runnell’s Lane, Thornton, Sefton

White Peak Planning submitted a full planning application on behalf of Barratt and David Wilson Homes in December 2018 for 183 residential dwellings at land south of Runnell’s Lane, Thornton, Sefton.

​On 27th March 2019, the application went to Sefton Council’s Planning Committee with a recommendation for approval. Despite a petition against the scheme and local residents speaking against the proposals, the Council resolved to grant planning permission, subject to conditions and a S106 Agreement.

​The S106 Agreement has now been finalised and a decision notice has been issued.
