New Permission – Horndean

On behalf of Bloor Homes, White Peak Planning are delighted to announce that the outline planning permission decision notice for Land east of Horndean has been issued by East Hants District Council.  The proposed development is for 800 new homes, a local centre, community building, primary school, and biodiversity enhancement works.  The development is allocated within the Local Plan and is one of the Council’s largest housing allocations.

We have supported Bloor Homes in a project management role for the last 3 years, managing and co-ordinating the project team, programme, and budget to deliver the planning application.  Since the resolution to grant was achieved at planning committee in June 2020, we have been working with the various legal teams and consultees to agree and finalise the Section 106 agreement in order that the decision notice can be issued.

We will continue to provide support throughout the subsequent reserved matters applications of which the first is due to be submitted early in 2022.
