New Instruction – Great Leighs, Chelmsford
White Peak Planning has been instructed by Bellway Homes and Harrow Estates to co-ordinate an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in support of a hybrid planning application for residential-led development at Great Leighs, Chelmsford. The application is for approximately 825 dwellings, a primary school, a Neighbourhood Centre, and ancillary infrastructure.
The application covers Strategic Growth Site 7a: Great Leighs – Land at Moulsham Hall, but the EIA will also need to consider the potential cumulative effects from development of the wider allocation. A request for an EIA Scoping Opinion has been issued to Chelmsford City Council and a response is currently awaited.
