On behalf of Independent Water Networks Limited, White Peak Planning have successfully attained a Marine Licence from the Marine Management Organisation for a stormwater outfall serving Whitecliffe, a 667-acre strategic mixed-use development that forms the largest development site within the Ebbsfleet Garden City.
For this project, we successfully screened out the need for an Environmental Impact Assessment, co-ordinated the application working with the project team, and produced a Strategic Appraisal to demonstrate accordance with the South East Marine Plan (draft), the Marine Policy Statement, and other EU legislation.
White Peak Planning worked closely with the Marine Management Organisation and the project team to ensure that all issues raised by both the Marine Management Organisation and consultees were addressed in accordance with the programme for overall delivery of the scheme. We will now continue to work with Independent Water Networks Limited and the project team to ensure the timely discharge of conditions for the scheme.
