It has been a successful few months in planning as June, July and August have seen a slight recovery in the number of consents issued for major housing schemes compared to previous months that appeared to have been heavily affected by COVID-19 restrictions.

Bloor Homes and Barker Mill Estates have submitted an Outline Planning Application for the land north of Salisbury Road, Totton.

On behalf of Bloor Homes, White Peak Planning have submitted a full planning application to Central Bedfordshire Council for the development of 115 dwellings (Use Class C3), new vehicular and pedestrian access off High Street, public open space, sustainable drainage systems and ancillary infrastructure.

The hearing sessions for the examination of the North Hertfordshire Local Plan (2011-2031) are due to reconvene ‘virtually’ in September after enduring a six-month delay due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On behalf of Independent Water Networks Limited, White Peak Planning have successfully attained a Marine Licence from the Marine Management Organisation for a stormwater outfall serving Whitecliffe, a 667-acre strategic mixed-use development that forms the largest development site within the Ebbsfleet Garden City.

On behalf of Bloor Homes Southern, White Peak Planning has co-ordinated an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and prepared an Environmental Statement for an outline planning application at land known as Ladygrove East in Didcot, South Oxfordshire. The outline planning application forms Phase 1 of the wider Ladygrove East site.

On behalf of Bloor Homes, White Peak Planning have secured a resolution to grant Outline Planning Permission for a residential-led mixed-use development of up to 1,100 homes, a local centre comprising a community facility, a day nursery, commercial and local retail uses (A1-3, D1), formal and informal open space, sports provision, a Gypsy and Traveller pitch and associated infrastructure, at Basingstoke Golf Club.
