Latest News: Land North East of Poverty Lane, Maghull Appeal Allowed
An appeal by Countryside Properties and Persimmon Homes against the non-determination of a hybrid application for 841 dwellings (in full) and an older-person’s housing scheme (in outline) in Maghull, Sefton, Merseyside has been allowed.
White Peak Planning’s involvement included the preparation of a Masterplan Report for the Land East of Maghull allocation, two planning applications for separate residential parcels (Sites A and B) totalling approximately 1,700 dwellings, and a joint EIA covering both schemes and wider cumulative effects. We then prepared and managed an appeal against non-determination of the application for Site A and Chris Garratt acted as Planning Expert Witness at the Virtual Hearing in December.
We’re delighted that the appeal has been allowed and hopefully soon we’ll receive a positive decision from Sefton Council on the application for Site B.
